The Big Ten Conference Career Expo is a unique opportunity for employers to reach out to students and alumni from all 11 prestigious universities at one time and one place. The Expo is held in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Tournament and highlights the education received at its member institutions.

In 2010, nearly 1000 students and alumni from all 11 schools attended the Career Expo. Other highlights from the 2010 Expo are:

• 60% of the attendees were graduates looking to make a career change
• 100% of the employers surveyed were either very satisfied or somewhat satisfied and all rated it above average when compared to other similar events
• 80% of the employers were going to contact and hire people they met at the Expo
